Anxiety-ridden faces spoke well of their eagerness to have their share of fun and excitement which they missed during their vacations. Perhaps, it was the happy ending of the summer holidays which were rather boring this year.
It’s the 'K' factor which seems to work for the Roshans again as the twin cinema halls in the city were thronged by the movie buffs.
Hrithik fans were not ready to miss his sequel of 'Koi...Mil Gaya' which was a big blockbuster. Sixteen-year-old Sumit was ready to wade through the thick crowd at the ticket window to fetch the tickets. "I am interested in watching Krrish since it is the sequel of Hrithik’s previous movie 'Koi...Mil Gaya'. It was my favourite and I expect to watch a better film this time," he said.
The promos of the movie being aired on various channels have also contributed to such a huge response. "Have you watched the way he glides through a big truck, and jumps from high rise structures. He looks superb with his cool looks and macho style. I wish to see my super hero," said Nikhil, a youngster who had a winning look on his face to have retrieved the ticket in time. So is Krrish, a new super hero, added to the list of the most famous ones like Spiderman, Superman who have been kids' hot favourites? Well, the results are still awaited.
Nine- year- old Chetan came with his parents. "The vacations were rather boring and Krrish is like a treat for me. Hrithik’s mask is fantastic and his robe reminds me of Superman," he said. "I hope it is not run-on-the-mill," said Rahul.
Whatever might be the reason to make 'Krrish' a box office success, movie buffs will get a chance to watch the best scenes created through special effects which is the backbone of the film.
The story is about Krishna (Hrithik Roshan) who is born with magical powers which he inherited from his father, Rohit Mehra.
Priya's (Priyanka Chopra) entry into his life is the romantic turn of the story. He follows her to Singapore. His grandmother Sonia (Rekha) who always had protective approach towards him, ultimately gives him permission to venture in the outside world.
Krrish has clashes with Dr. Siddhant Arya (Naseeruddin Shah) in Singapore who is a scientist and nurtures destructive dreams of changing the future forever.
So again, the good and the evil are face to face. And we are ready to enjoy the action-packed, romantic saga of 'Krrish'.
