“The alleged meeting between Gen. VK Singh and retired Lt Gen. Tejinder Singh didn’t last very long. According to the chief’s complaint, the retired officer was escorted out of his office within few minutes. The Gen. has provided us details of what transpired in the meeting. But to pursue to the preliminary enquiry...we need certain clarifications from the Gen.,” said an official.

Sources said, they have a complainant and an officer against whom the complaint was made. But there is no witness. Investigators want to know in what circumstance the meeting took place. Can Gen. Singh corroborate his claim with any other evidence?
