Building collapse case, bodies brought back

The bodies of four people from Tamil Nadu, who were killed when a hotel building collapsed in Ahmedabad, have been brought back to Chennai.

The bodies of four people from Tamil Nadu, who were killed when a hotel building collapsed in Ahmedabad, were brought back to Chennai on Tuesday.

State protocol officers received the bodies of Chokkalingam (31) of Pattukottai, Mayilsamy (43) of Tiruchi and Mohammed Sabi (40) and Natarajan (48) of Tirupur. The bodies were handed over to Tahsildars of victims' areas.

The bodies were brought from Mumbai by an Indian flight.

As many as 16 people were killed when the building of the hotel Shagun collapsed on Sunday, at Kalupur locality in Ahmedabad.
