With the amendment of the 1976 Act, the correct Hindi spelling of 'Lohara' would be notified.

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday decided to introduce a Bill to amend the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Order Act to correct the Hindi spelling of 'Lohara' community of Bihar from the existing 'Lohar'.

With the amendment of the 1976 Act, the correct Hindi spelling of 'Lohara' would be notified, an official spokesperson said.
