Cafe owner makes porn stars of students

A large number of obscene CDs and pictures were seized from the centre.

Police have arrested an internet cafe owner at Palakarai for allegedly drugging some college girls, who visited the centre for browsing, and taking pornographic pictures and videos.

According to police, Liyakat Ali, an engineering graduate, used to offer beverages, mixed with drugs, to the customers and take obscene pictures when they became unconscious.

A large number of obscene CDs and pictures were seized from the centre.

The equipment, including a camera worth Rs 14 lakh, was also seized. After a complaint from a caller, Central Zone IG Jaffer Sait ordered raid in the Internet centre from where the CDs and video were seized.

Police said that it would give fresh guidelines to the internet kiosks to prevent such incidents in future.
