‘Can’t show you the money’

After the recent slump, Salman Khan has been asked to bring down his price by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, reports Vajir Singh.

The buzz in the film trade is that producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series has asked Khan for a cut in the price which was committed to him earlier.

His price
Reportedly, Khan was signed for a solo-hero movie to be directed by Anees Bazmee for a whopping Rs 60 crore.

But following the recession, Kumar is now willing to pay Khan only one- third the amount, Rs 20 crore. On his part, Khan has yet to decide whether to agree to the reduced price or opt out of the movie. The film was supposed to go on the floors in August 2009 but the lead actress is yet to be finalised.

In past
Prior to this, Ramesh Taurani too put on hold his plans to remake Amar Akbar Anthony with the Khan brothers, Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail.

The comic caper was to be directed by David Dhawan. Reportedly, Khan had asked for Rs 50 crore as his remuneration.
