Candidates await auspicious dates

Candidates nominated by the respective political parties are waiting for an auspicious day to file their nominations.

So far only three candidates have filed nomination papers in Ajmer district for the state Assembly elections. One nomination each has been filed at Ajmer West, Masuda and Kishangarh constituencies.

Most of the candidates are expected to file nominations on November 12 or 14, which are being considered auspicious dates for filing the nominations.

Assistant district election officer Nishkam Diwakar today said that Sayar, son of Suraj, has filed his nomination papers from Masuda constituency as an Independent candidate, Manvindra Singh, son of Shaitan Singh, has filed papers on Samajwadi Party ticket from Kishangarh and Narayan Sindhi has filed his nomination papers as an Independent candidate from Ajmer West.
