The BJP workers led by party's district unit in-charge Rishi Kumar Sharma presented the SP a CD containing footage of the June-12 incident, cuttings of newspapers clippings of that day besides sharing some photographs. The leaders claimed that the police action was unwarranted and without any prior warning.

The BJP leaders have also forwarded the copies of the memorandum to governor Jagannath Pahadia, chief justice of Punjab and Haryana high court, SK Kaul, director general police SN Vashisht, inspector general of police, Hisar range, SS Kapoor and the National Human Rights Commission for a fair probe into the incident.
