Celebrities' date with golf
Celebrities from different fields enjoyed trying hands at putting at the Delhi Golf Club recently.
It’s a coincidence that she’s done a film called Samay. Now that she’s the brand ambassador of TAG Heuer, Sushmita Sen is taking her responsibility seriously.

After teeing off for a precision golf tournament on Sunday morning, Sush went on to try some putting at the Delhi Golf Club in the evening.
“I’ve been a national level badminton player, but golf is new to me,” she conceded. She also teamed up with dad, Wing commander (retd) Subir Sen, for the putting competition. The father-daughter team managed a decent score. Besides competing in the event herself, Sush was one of the loudest cheerleaders too. Her energy rubbed off on the participants. One of them presented her with a sketch he had made during the tournament. In the prize distribution ceremony, the idea of getting a hug and a kiss from Sushmita appealed more to the winners than the prize. Also present was TV anchor Mandira Bedi, “I am doing lots of theatre and touring with the cast of Anything But Love these days,” she told us.
Seen honing their putting skills: Former J & K chief minister Farooq Abdullah, curator Kalyani Chawla and activist Nafisa Ali.
