BJP state president Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday demanded the Centre to take measures to resolve the ongoing transporters strike. Justifying the agitating transporters demands, Dattatreya asked when the oil prices already come down in the international market, why is the Centre not taking steps to reduce the prices of petrolum products. He said Central Government the issue needs to be addressed at the earliest as prices of essential commodities are going up fast.

Regarding Satyam isse, he appealed to the state and central governments to protect the intersts of the investors and 53,000 employes of company.

On BJP's Vijaya Sankalpa yatras, he said LK Advani will address a meeting at Vijayawada on February 4.
