Chef Sanjeev Kapoor flown to UAE to cook veg dinner for PM Modi

Star chef Sanjeev Kapoor prepared a special vegetarian feast for Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the dinner hosted by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).

Star chef Sanjeev Kapoor was flown to UAE to prepare a special vegetarian feast for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The dinner was hosted by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) that controls the $800 billion sovereign wealth fund of the oil-rich Gulf country.

"Star chef @SanjeevKapoor was flown in by UAE hosts for a special vegetarian menu in honour of PM @narendramodi," tweeted external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

"Discussing invest opprts over high level dinner. HH Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, MD of Abu Dhabi Inv. Authority hosts PM," he added.

The feast was a multi-course vegetarian dinner representing the best of Indian cuisine and included a Royal Gujarati Thali.
