Chennai marathon draws thousands
Thousands of enthusiastic participants today ran in different categories of the eighth Chennai Marathon, organised by the Tamil Nadu government.

Thousands of enthusiastic participants today ran in different categories of the eighth Chennai Marathon, organised by the Tamil Nadu government.
Thousands of runners from India and other countries including Kenya and Japan participated in the marathon,
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister TPM Mohideen Khan, told reporters after flagging off the marathon.
The Chennai Marathon was divided into seven categories including the 42 km full marathon for men, 21 km half marathon and corporate marathon, he said.
The Marathon was organised by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT).
