Rock legend Eric Clapton has reportedly snubbed a $6.4 million offer in order to get the highest bid for the rights to his life story to be written as a book.

According to contactmusic.com, Clapton wants to land the biggest deal in rock memoir history. He has promised that the information revealed will be worth all the money.
His literary agent Ed Victor said: "Eric has known everybody and played with everybody. He has a terrific recall and a very dry wit. He will be very frank about his life."
