Apropos our report titled "UP cops refused to help me" published on June 24, Melissa Lucas has clarified that she did not intend to insult Indians. She said Indians care about humanity and have helped her many times. She said the report presents an incorrect picture of her thoughts about UP's police and the reporter should have spoken to her before filing the report.
