Top seed Pankaj Avani will meet PSPB teammate Sourav Kothari in the final of the Rs 3.10-lakh Nahar-MIG All- India Invitational Snooker Championship.

In today's semifinals, Advani, won 5-0 over Kamal Chawla of the Railways. Advani won 81-16, 75-18, 64-53, 54-17, 52-45.

Gurbaaz takes lead

Mumbai: Gurbaaz Mann established a three-stroke lead on Day One of the PGTI Players Championship, courtesy a round of seven-under 63. Gaganjeet Bhullar, Anirban Lahiri, Abhishek Jha and Mohd. Siddikur Rahman were tied second at four-under 66. Mann made an ideal start at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club, as he hit it close on the front nine to earn birdies on the first, fourth, fifth and seventh. He then converted a 10-feet birdie putt on the 10th to go to 5-under.
