Rockers Coldplay have topped OK! magazine's 2005 pop rich list, after raking in an estimated 37 million pounds.

The Chris Martin-fronted band, which sold approximately 10 million copies of their X&Y record last year, beat off competition from U2, whose income was 35 million pounds, and Sir Elton John who earned 30 million pounds, reports Femalefirst.

In fourth place was The Rolling Stones with earnings of 28 million pounds, followed by Sir Paul McCartney, who came in fifth with 25 million pounds.
