Collector, Mayor review Id preparations
THE DISTRICT Collector S K Mishra and Mayor Sunil Sood reviewed the Id preparations at Idgah, other big mosques and the surrounding localities on Sunday. They directed the concerned officials to complete the arrangements in time. SP Anant Kumar Singh and municipal commissioner Manish Singh were present during the inspection.

Members of Mayor-in-Council Kailash Mishra and Syed Munawwar Ali, SDM M B Ojha, additional municipal commissioners Arvind Dubey and Abhay Bedekar and other officials were also present.
The team went round the Idgah, Taj-ul-Masajid and Moti Masajid and took stock of the cleanliness operations and other arrangements for the upcoming Id Namaz.
The Mayor said that every year arrangements are made for the safety and general comfort of the namazis. Special arrangements are made for drinking water, the approach roads and the drainages around the Namaz sites are specially cleaned up and insecticides sprayed.
The Mayor directed the officials to take up tree plantation on the open land around Idgah. The officials held discussions with the managing committee members of Taj-ul-Masajid and Moti Masjid. Collector S K Mishra directed that arrangements for proper traffic conduction should be made.
Deputy city engineer (electricity) S K Devgan, city engineer V K Mishra, health officer Dr Habeeba Sultan, deputy city engineer Israr Hussain, transport officer VVS Choudhary, zonal officials and others were present.
