The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), an electoral ally of the Congress in the parliamentary elections, has demanded at least three ministerial berths in a Sonia Gandhi-led government at the centre.

The party is reported to have asked for adequate representation in the central government in view of its performance in the general election.
The party has got five of its candidates elected to the Lok Sabha.
Party chief Shibu Soren is presently camping in the national capital.
"We have demanded three MPs of our party should be given places in the cabinet. We are hoping for at least two MPs to be absorbed in the central government by Sonia Gandhi," senior leader Stephen Marandi told IANS over telephone from Delhi.
