Talking to media persons here today, Harshvardhan said Shyam Narain Tiwari had allocated Rs 2.88 lakh for library hall in Farenda tehsil and Rs 1.20 lakh for approach road in Jaipuria Junion High School in Maharajganj district. DRDA was assigned the job to complete the work but work was yet to be completed, he alleged and further added that this agency had shown that work had been completed on the paper.
Replying to a question, he said a complaint was registered at district magistrate office, Maharajganj in this regards and DM had conducted a probe into the matter. District magistrate had lodged an FIR in Farenda police station in this regard.
Harshvardhan said that he had verified the projects set to be completed on the papers, but in reality, projects were yet to be started. He also quoted various instance of development projects in this regards and said around Rs 75 lakh has been misused. Demanding immediate action against the officials, Harshvardhan said he has submitted a memorandum to divisional commissioner. He said that Congress activists would not sit idle and would raise the misdeed of the officials.
