"The chief minister has extended talks offer to naxalites as every one knows that solutions come up through dialogue and not through violence," AICC member and JPCC general secretary Sailesh Sinha said.

Reacting to accusations against Soren during Tamar assembly by-election campaign, he said, "It is unfortunate that JD-U leaders Sharad Yadav (party president) and Nitish Kumar (Bihar chief minister) are interpreting this as soft-pedalling against naxalites."

Soren is among 15 candidates in the fray for the January 5 by-poll.
