Cong to scrape through

Congress is likely to scrape through in the keenly-contested polls in Chhattisgarh, exit polls indicated on Monday. Zee News-C voter poll gave 39-47 seats to Congress and 36-44 seats to BJP.

The stare with 'controversial' Ajit Jogi as the CM has kept every one guessing through all opinion polls and is continuing to do so in the exit poll.

According to Zee News-C voter exit poll, the 90-member assembly is split right down to the centre with Congress likely to capture 39-47 seats while BJP will prove good in 36-44. But Congress faces a 2% negative swing and BJP gains a 1% vote share.

Aaj Tak Org-Marg exit poll shows that Congress will get 43 per cent votes and BJP 39 per cent votes. The size of the sample survey was 21,600.
