The names of Kiran Chaudhary and Savitri Jindal are also doing the rounds for ministerships. They are widows of Haryana former ministers Surinder Singh and OP Jindal who died in a copter crash last year.
While the strength of the nine-member Ministry could be raised to 14, speculation is there would be induction of only three new faces.
Besides Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the Ministry comprises Chandra Mohan, son of senior leader and PCC Chief Bhajan Lal, as Deputy Chief Minister and seven other ministers.
AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi told reporters in New Delhi that the matter was under active consideration and there was possibility of an early expansion.
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and had also held discussions with Dwivedi, who is in charge of party affairs in Haryana.
