CP beauty plan hits parking

If you think parking in CP is a nightmare, it’s going to get much worse.

One aspect of the redevelopment plan is to expand pavements and create a seating plaza on the outer circle, which will eat into parking space. Also, pavements will be built on both sides of the road in the middle circle, leaving just a narrow strip for cars.

Before work started, CP could accommodate 7,000 parked cars. That number is down to 2,500 and even after completion of the project, not more than 3,000 cars will fit in the parking space.
