CPM rally against communal forces

THE ACTIVISTS of the CPM, the All-India Democratic Women?s Alliance, the Students Federation of India and other Left organisations took out a procession against communal and imperial forces on the occasion of 75 martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh here on Thursday. The rally, which covered the area from Royal Hotel, Lalbagh Girls Inter College crossing, TrilokiNath road, culminated into a meeting at Patel statue.

Addressing the gathering of Left workers, state secretary of AIDWA Madhu Garg appreciated the work of Bhagat Singh. She called upon those who were present on the occasion to translate the dreams of Bhagat Singh. She expressed the need to spread the ideas and thoughts of Bhagat Singh.

The rally was addressed by CPM district secretary Arjun Prasad, DYFI state president Pradeep Sharma, leader of Kisan Sabha Kripal Singh, SFI state secretary Radhey Shyam Verma.

VIDHAN SABHA Speaker Mata Prasad and Deputy Speaker Rajesh Agarwal on Thursday paid tributes to martyrs Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on the occasion on Martyrs Day in the city.
