The association handed over an 11-point charge-sheet against the FO to vice-chancellor Prof Arun Kumar the copies of which were dispatched to the chancellor and the principal secretary, Higher Education. In the memorandum, president of the association, Ganesh Shanker Pandey, and secretary Dr CB Ankur, said the FO had illegally possessed a VIP suit in the university guesthouse despite being allotted a flat from the university.

The association accused Singh of running a camp office in the guesthouse, which gave a wrong message to the society. They said the academicians and other VIPs who came here for academic work, were facing hardship, as the VIP suit was illegally possessed by the FO since long.

They alleged that the FO was involved in various financial irregularities and had stopped payments of teachers under self-finance courses. Beside, he had not cleared scholarships for SCs/ STs for the last two years for vested interests.

Prof Pandey said the FO had deducted house rent from the salary of Badre Alam, a teacher in the Zoology department even though Badre Alam had not been allotted any flat. He said the aim of the FO was to harass and insult the teachers which was highly condemnable.

He said an FIR had been lodged against the FO on the directive of the chief judicial magistrate and his suspicious role had come into light in Tarkulha case. In the light of these cases and the FIR, the FO should be removed from his post to create a transparent and academic atmosphere in the university, he said.
