Devotees to perform ?parikrama? of of ?Ram Janmabhoomi?

A LARGE number of Ram bhakts, headed by saints from different parts of country, will reach Ayodhya to perform ?parikrama? of Ram Janmabhoomi on November 30. Their objective is to mount pressure on the government for acquisition of holy land of Lord Ram, ?Ram Janmabhoomi?.

A LARGE number of Ram bhakts, headed by saints from different parts of country, will reach Ayodhya to perform ‘parikrama’ of Ram Janmabhoomi on November 30. Their objective is to mount pressure on the government for acquisition of holy land of Lord Ram, ‘Ram Janmabhoomi’.

Shankaracharya of Jyotish and Shardapeeth, Swaroopanand Saraswati would lead the ‘parikrama’ along with several other prominent saints of the country, said Swami Avimukteshwaranand, the head disciple of Swami Swaroopanand.

Speaking to mediapersons here at Vidya Math on Tuesday, young saint Swami Avimukteshwaranand called upon people to participate in the ‘Parikrama’, cutting across party lines so that a grand Ram temple could be constructed at a later stage.

“Much is talked about the construction of temple by people. But, whatever is needed first, is the acquisition of holy land, ‘ Ram Janmabhoomi. Once land is acquired, it would pave the way for the construction of the temple”, he said.
