The team wanted to study the inter-connectivity of the RMG with DMRC's Gurgaon line. The Rs 1,000-crore project with 6.1km loop-sized track would prove to be an effective feeder system for DMRC's Gurgaon line and would have seamless ticketing system, the permission for which has already been granted by DMRC.

The first RMG station would take off and terminate near the Sikandarpur Metro station, which would be connected with a pedestrian bridge. The RMG Limited officials claimed that Sreedharan expressed satisfaction about the quality of work and suggested that the project will be a boon for the city of Gurgaon.
