Delhi University has its own prestige and reputation. A job seeker with a degree from DU certainly has an edge over a candidate from any other university in the country. But it is definitely not the only deciding factor as the individual's personality, perception and his presence of mind also count for a lot. A student from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) will definitely carry more weight than one from any other management institute. However, an alumnus of the Indian Institutes of Management will be given more importance than an FMS pass out.
