Seems supermodel Kate Moss' position as a true style icon is assured, as her enduring appeal and her influence over fashion has once again been recognised by yet another society magazine.
The 31-year-old beauty, who makes a fashion statement with the simplest outfit she wears, has topped Tatler's best dressed list for 2006.
"Looks good in anything she wears – whatever the combination. Has an assortment of tastes, like pick 'n' mix, which are always tempting. A true trendsetter," the Daily Mail quoted the magazine's editor, as saying.
King Kong star Naomi Watts ranked second in the list, for bringing "natural grace to the red carpet".
Other stars who were nominated in Tatler's top 50 best dressed woman of the world included Sienna Miller, Peaches Geldof, Thandie Newton, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, who is described as a "new royal fashion icon" who "is suddenly stunning," since her engagement and subsequent marriage to Prince Charles.
"She is a new royal fashion icon who wowed us in her red engagement dress, Philip Treacy hats, and Robinson Valentine wedding outfit. Other stars on the top ten included Kate Moss, Yasmin Le Bon and Naomi Watts," said Tatler's editor.
"The best-dressed British women of the past year have one thing in common: an understanding of fashion. They know just what suits them and how to make it work," he added.
