Police have booked Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) chief Asiya Andrabi for addressing a rally organised by Mumbai blasts mastermind Hafiz Saeed-led Jamat-ud Dawa in Pakistan.
"A case FIR no 84/2015 under Section 13 of Unlawful Activities Act has been registered against Andrabi," a police official said.
After unfurling the Pakistan flag on August 14, the hardline separatist leader had made news again by addressing a rally led by Saeed in Pakistan.
The chief of the radical women's organisation addressed the people of Pakistan over telephone. While Andrabi addressed the gathering, Saeed was reportedly seen sitting on the stage.
Andrabi had on the very day celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day and unfurled Pakistani flag in Srinagar's downtown area.
In a statement on the Pakistan Day, Andrabi had congratulated Pakistan and called it “a dreamland.”
