Balkrishnan directed district magistrates of both divisions that they should ensure that fake names were not included in the revaluated voters list before electoral rolls are published.

He suggested that ensure correct voter lists, random checks should be made Assembly wise. He further said that the final publication of the voters’ list should be made after January 3, 2007 after making proper examination of the all lists.

The chief election officer Anil Bishnoi directed all district magistrates that proper arrangements should be made for the training of employees being deployed for the re-evaluation work for voters’ lists.

Bishnoi said that 66 per cent work of Photo Identity card had been completed all over the State and rest of the work will be completed soon. He also informed that in case of increase in the number of voters, a separate polling booth should be made where the number exceeds 1500 in a list.
