Three more deaths due to encephalitis have been reported in Assam, where 20 districts are in the grip of the disease, taking the death toll to 118 this year.

Joint Director, Health Dr A K Sarma said here that all the three deaths were reported from Nagaon district since Thursday night.

Sibsagar is the worst hit district where 42 have died since January this year.
