EPCO environment workshop ends

THE ENVIRONMENT awareness workshop organised by EPCO from May 30 to June 2 concluded today. The workshop included activities like greetings card making, poster-making, lectures related to environmental education and documentary films on water, soil conservation and wild life.

THE ENVIRONMENT awareness workshop organised by EPCO from May 30 to June 2 concluded today. The workshop included activities like greetings card making, poster-making, lectures related to environmental education and documentary films on water, soil conservation and wild life.

A programme of mimes and Saraswati Vandana were also presented. On the last day, children took part in mime session and poster-making event. The themes of mimes included environment conservation, pollution and relation of man with nature. The mimes were prepared and taught by Arun.

In the valedictory session, EPCO Director (Research & Training) Dr Udai Raj Singh thanked the participants for joining the workshop. He wished them good luck and urged them to participate in more such events to be organised in future. EPCO senior research officer Dr Sadhana Tiwari coordinated the entire series of programmes.
