Farm loan waiver scheme launched

State Bank of India chairman OP Bhatt on Sunday night inaugurated the Centre's ambitious Rs 60,000 crore farm loan waiver scheme in Indore.
Bhatt formally launched the farm loan waiver scheme at State Bank of Indore's rural branch at Navda Panth, ten kilometres from here.
He claimed that according to estimates, SBI will waive loan to the tune of Rs 1000-2000 crore under the scheme.
