INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and Office Automation mega fair Fonocom 2006 would be held in Abhay Prashal, Race Course Road Indore from February 10 to 13.
Madhya Pradesh Telecom and Computers Traders Association (MPTCTA) organises this mega event every year in Indore. Association president Dharmendra Jain and secretary Yunus Patel informed that IT company Logitech is the sponsor of this year’s event.
Latest computer hardware, peripherals, laptop, personal computers, wireless, laser printers, DVD, phone, video conferencing, EPBX, fax and mobile equipment would be displayed in the exhibition.
The event has been named Logitech Fonocom this year. Logitech would create a live experiencing zone in the exhibition for the visitors. The visitors would get complete information about the company’s products in the zone.
Fonocom has been presenting latest technologies and gadgets to the City. Airtel sponsored the event in 2000, BSNL in 2001,
Touchtel in 2002 and Samsung sponsored it in 2003. Philips supported the event in 2004 and exhibited De link wireless networking system here.
Tata Indicom was the sponsor last year. MPTCTA has invited all computer dealers of the State to participate in the exhibition. It would also invite corporations, SMB and educational institutions.
MPTCTA member Sushil Beriwal said that Fonocom has entered its 12th year and this year the event would again present some new technologies. The number of stalls would also be more than in previous years.
