Activists of the Youth Force stopped the train when it was approaching Nagpur from Mumbai around 8.30 am.

The man who led the agitators, Mickey Bakshi, had once been in police custody on extortion charges. The activists stopped the train for more than 30 minutes and shouted slogans. Central Railway PRO Suhas Lohkare said around 250 activists stopped the train by lying on the railway tracks.

The railway authorities called the police, who dispersed the mob, and the train resumed its journey.
