Forced into sodomy, student ends life
SEXUALLY EXPLOITED, a 19-year-old student of BTR training at Ordnance Factory committed suicide. A classmate, the son of a defence employee had allegedly tortured him and other students, by flaunting his father?s position. The student, identified as Aadesh Trivedi (19), hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his house at Malaviya Vihar in Karraie village under Barra police station on Tuesday night.
SEXUALLY EXPLOITED, a 19-year-old student of BTR training at Ordnance Factory committed suicide. A classmate, the son of a defence employee had allegedly tortured him and other students, by flaunting his father’s position.
The student, identified as Aadesh Trivedi (19), hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his house at Malaviya Vihar in Karraie village under Barra police station on Tuesday night.
The Barra police have registered a case against the accused Amar Dev Yadav under Sections 377 and 306 of the Indian Penal Code.
Meanwhile, SP (crime) Sripati Mishra told the ‘Hindustan Times’, “It’s true that a student of BTR training in the ordnance factory committed suicide following forced homosexual relations and soon the police will nab the accused.”According to Surendra Nath Trivedi, father of the deceased, a teacher of the training course had informed him about 20 days back about the homosexual relationship between Aadesh and Amar Dev. “After knowing that my son was being physically and mentally tortured by another student, I had stopped my son from going for training but during that period Amar Dev kept putting pressure on my son,” said Trivedi.
He accused Amar Dev of forcing Aadesh to fulfill his desires and pressuring him by threatening to eliminate his entire family. Some relatives of the deceased said some students of the same training programme had told teachers about the forced homosexual relations in the ordnance factory but teachers remained tight-lipped and they told the father of the deceased when it was too late.The relatives have demanded stern action against Amar Dev Yadav and an unbiased inquiry into the sexual exploitation of Aadesh that forced him to end his life.
They alleged that the forced sexual relations had led to a fight between Aadesh and Amar Dev Yadav. When Aadesh rejoined the training programme after a gap of 15 days two days back, he was threatened again by Amar Dev that if he opened his mouth about their relationship, his family would be wiped out. Aadesh was tense since then and on Tuesday night he finally ended his life.
Meanwhile, the Barra police are probing the matter. They visited the house of the deceased and raided several places in search of Amar Dev Yadav.
