Former state minister and senior Congress leader Narendra Nahta on Friday resigned from the primary membership of the party.
Nahta, who was a minister in the Digvijay Singh government in Madhya Pradesh, refused to comment on the development but confirmed that he has resigned from Congress.
Nahta said he has sent his resignation to Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Arun Yadav and also to the Congress General Secretary in-charge of MP Mohan Prakash.
He said he has not yet decided to join any party.
