Apart from the language spoken by the smart service staff and the handful of Mizo dishes, this stall has very little to do with Mizoram. And if you have any questions about dishes like Bai or Sawchiar or even Bamboo Shoot Rice will get answered only if you're familiar with the Mizo language. Though the Mizo thali is a must-have, you may be better off asking for Thai or Italian food. The thali is a platter of well-prepared smoked pork (Vawksa Rep), a helping of Bai, a typical Mizo dish of mixed vegetables cooked with soda and sawchir, and boiled rice served in a thick gravy of greens. Another item is a preparation of bamboo shoots with rice and a choice of either pork or chicken. The Thai and Chinese are passable. The passion fruit juice is an absolute must.
