The CM also dedicated 55 development projects wor-th Rs 9.90 crore, besides laying the foundation stone of 45 development projects worth Rs 50.32 crore. He also announced 13 development projects worth Rs 34.61 crore.
The CM distributed Rs 5.32 crore cheques to 2660 girls under Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana and assured that drinking water problem in Jalaun would be solved within a month.
Yadav said his office would inspect and verify different development works in Bundelkhand region and guilty contractors would either have to return money or be sent to jails. He also warned officers to guard against corruption. The CM ordered installation of 1000 hand pumps and announced that every house in Bundelkhand would get electricity soon. He said if any person died due to hunger, the district magistrate would be held responsible.
PWD and Energy Minister Shiv Pal Singh Yadav, MP Chandra Pal Singh, MLA Shyam Sunder Singh, Brijendra Pratap Singh, secretary to CM Chandrama Prasad, Commissioner Jhansi Shankar Agarwal were present, besides other senior officials, public representatives and eminent citizens were present on the occasion.
