"One worker died on the spot and three others on way to hospital. All the injured have been hospitalised with burn injuries," Raigarh Collector Ramesh Survade told PTI.

The accident occurred when the hydrocarbon and weilding gas came into contact in the plant now under maintenance. The plant at Nagathone town in Raigarh district was shut for maintenance yesterday.

The fire broke at around 11 am and soon after triggered an explosion, the collector said, adding at the time of the accident around 205 maintenance workers were present in the premises, he said.
