Functions to mark Azad?s birth centenary

VARIOUS FUNCTIONS would be organised by various organisations at Chandrashekhar Azad Park (Company Bagh) on Sunday, to celebrate the birth centenary of the great martyr Chandrashekhar Azad.

Veer Shiromani Chandrashekhar Azad Smarak Samiti will organise a function at 9 am. On the occasion, freedom fighters will pay tributes to Chandrashekhar Azad.

Likewise, a cultural programme will be organised at 5 pm there. It will be organised by Jai Hind Foundation. Besides, members of this organisation will take out ‘Prabhat Pheri’.

A four-day programme jointly organised by Disha Chhatra Sangathan and Navjawan Bharat Sabha under the Smriti Sankalp Yatra will conclude at Chandrashekhar Azad Park on Sunday at 3 pm.

Besides, a cultural programme will also be organised on the occasion.
