The Gaddafi Stadium is the head-quater of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). No other cricket ground in the world matches the spaciousness of the playing area of Gaddafi Stadium - it has the largest green field.
The pitch is normally slow, helpful to spinners and occasionally green enough for seamers to enjoy it. Over 57 percent of drawn games played here, is proof enough of this drab characteristic. It is, therefore, not misleading to say that the Gaddafi is a batsman's paradise.
With An Oval shape, After renovation in 1996, The newly constructed Gaddafi Stadium has become one of the most attractive grounds in the world.
