India suffered a double blow even before the first ball was bowled in the crucial third cricket Test against Australia on Tuesday when captain Sourav Ganguly and off spinner Harbhajan Singh were ruled out of the match.

Ganguly was laid low by a thigh strain while Harbhajan Singh was diagnosed with a stomach problem that had led to a viral fever.
Vice-captain Rahul Dravid led the team that was trying to bounce back from a 0-1 deficit after losing the first Test in Bangalore.
Ganguly had undergone an MRI scan on Sunday but had played down the injury in the pre-match press conference on Monday.
India were also without left arm pacer Irfan Pathan who was earlier ruled out due to a side strain.
India's problems were however slightly offset by the return of Sachin Tendulkar. The batting ace was playing his first match in almost three months after being down with tennis elbow on the left arm.
