GD Goenka school shines at DDA inter-school event

The under-17 Boys Basketball team of GD Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj participated in the DDA Inter-school Basketball Tournament organized by Sports Complex, Vasant Kunj.

The under-17 Boys Basketball team of GD Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj participated in the DDA Inter-school Basketball Tournament organized by Sports Complex, Vasant Kunj. The team lifted the tournament by defeating Masonic Public School in the Quarter Finals, Chinmaya Public School in the semi-finals and Bloom Public School in the finals. The Girls Basketball team participated in the U-17 Inter-school Basketball Tournament and emerged as the runners-up. Principal, D.M. Sharma congratulated the team.

Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar in collaboration with the High Commission of Malta organized a workshop on ‘Six Thinking Hats’ for the Principals and faculty of over 25 schools in Delhi and NCR. The resource person Dr. Sandra M Dingli Director Edward de Bono Institute of Thinking and creativity, University of Malta explained the concept of creative thinking to the participants. Principal, Ashok Pandey welcomed the guests. Chief Guest, His Excellency Wilfred Kenley, High Commissioner of Malta stressed the need to learn from the experience of each other.

Mount Carmel School, Anand Niketan celebrated its Annual Day. Dr RC Deka, Director, AIIMS and CP Sharma, Retd. Director, DDA were special invitees on the first day while on the second day PK Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the CM graced the occasion.
