GDA employee?s son in police net

An FIR has been filed against Sachin, son of a GDA employee, in connection with the suicide of one Sonali Sharma at a local hotel some days back. Sachin has been booked under section 406 of the IPC.

The deceased was a resident of Muzaffarnagar and had allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan.

According to the police, the hotel manager told them that Sonali had booked room no. 204 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the hotel staff was alarmed when after repeatedly knocking at the door, there was no response from her.

The police was called and the door broken. Sonali’s body was then found hanging from the fan.

Police found a note written by the deceased. It was addressed to Sachin: “Sachin, you used to call me your wife, but what has happened now? I am not a prostitute but the daughter of a respectable father.”
