Geet Sethi on song; Advani bounces back

GEET SETHI continued his excellent for today in the National Billiards and Snooker Tournament being organised by the MP Sports and Youth Welfare Department at BHEL Senior Club.

Pankaj Advani also bounced back in the tournament after winning his all matches today. Advani, who lost in straight frames to Geet Sethi, played well against Rupesh Shah 3-0.

Playing like the champion he is, Advani thumped his opponent without giving any opportunity to Shah. Pankaj Advani was so aggressive in his game that he scored over 50 points at one time during his turn.

His game thrilled the spectators as he gained points on every opportunity he got. He won the match 104-0, 100-02 and 101-13.

Repeating his performance he defeated Saurav Kothari. Saurav put up some challenges for the world champion but failed to
stop the champion from winning the tie. He lost the game 95-102, 100-0 and 101-61.

Geet, who has been demonstrating the outstanding performances, won two matches that he played on fourth day of the tournament.

In the first match he defeated Venkatesan 13-101, 100-37, 100-18 and 100-25. In his second match he Geet Sethi came back from the loss of two frames to oust Rupesh Shah 96-102, 0-100, 101-60, 100-91 and 100-08.

Ashok Shandilya tasted first loss of the day against Dhruv Sitwala. Shandilya lost the game 13-100, 103-93, 100-0 and 102-02.
