George Clooney's health scare

Actor George Clooney got a scare when he thought he had malaria after he visited Darfur last month.

According to pagesix.com, Clooney was certified as "Ok" after he got a check-up but he took a while to feel normal again. A source said: "George was very thin and exhausted for a time. But he is the consummate professional ... and never complained."

Clooney's friends Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had contracted meningitis in Africa last year. A representative for Clooney said: "George does not have malaria, but he felt like he had the effects of it at one point. It was food poisoning from the flight back from Darfur."
