The Goa police has seized narcotics worth Rs 9.58 lakh during raids at several places and arrested six persons, hailing from north India, in this connection, police said on Wednesday.

One Thakur Das, hailing from Himachal Pradesh, was arrested from Thivim, 20 km from the state capital, after seizure of 2.16 kg of charas, police said.
Subsequently, another person identified as Manoj Kumar was arrested from coastal Anjuna village and 4.60 kg of drugs worth Rs 4.06 lakh was found in his possession.
Two others-- Ajay Kumar and Lalachand Soldha Ram were nabbed from Vegator beach for possessing 1.57 kg of charas, police added.
In another raid at Calangute beach belt, two persons Jagannath Negi and Raj Dutta, were arrested for possessing drugs worth Rs 1.80 lakh, officials said.
