Goa: woman found dead, head smashed
A dead body of a young woman was on Thursday found stripped naked, her head smashed, in Goa's Assagao jungles, police said, adding they suspect she was raped also.

A dead body of a young woman was on Thursday found stripped naked, her head smashed, in Goa's Assagao jungles, police said, adding they suspect she was raped also.
The woman, whose head was battered beyond recognition, is believed to be in her early 20s. The Assagao jungle is 20 km from Panaji.
Police are on the lookout for a youth called Ranjit Tuenkar in connection with the death as he was last seen with the girl Thursday evening.
